Sally Ann Fitter

“I am a painter who lives by the sea in North Norfolk. Flowers and Still Life compositions are a constant theme in my paintings, but I also paint the wonderful big skies, beautiful coastline and landscape on my doorstep. My inspiration is colour, pattern and texture.
My aim as an artist is to enrich people’s lives with my own vision of harmony and beauty; if people feel happy looking at my work then I have achieved everything I was hoping for.

Always I have used elements of collage and gold leaf in my paintings to create a painting surface with a mosaic and multi – faceted feel.
I use techniques of layering and scraping back to create texture that results in paintings that are vibrant, luminous and full of interest.
