‘This stunning subject I photographed at Blickling, Norfolk, one wintry evening before Christmas. I love the halo of light on the people in the carriage. After I finished it I was reminded of the work by John Atkinson Grimshaw, an English Victorian-era artist best known for his nocturnal scenes of urban landscapes.’
