Death After Life (2010)

Exhibition: Artist:

Gilbert & George | Signed Archival Inkjet Lithograph | Edition of 100 | 9.5 x 18 inches

Gilbert & George claim that their approach to art has always been anti-elitist. Adopting the slogan ‘Art for All’, they aimed to be relevant beyond the narrow confines of the art world. Although they work in a variety of media, they have always referred to all their works as ‘sculpture.’

This image was published alongside a special edition of Alan Hollinghurst’s 2004 Man Booker Prize-winning novel The Line of Beauty.
