“One of a series of paintings completed during lockdown of berries and fruits collected in my garden throughout the seasons in English vintage porcelain bowls. My strawberries this year were a failure and this very lonely strawberry was the only survivor -strangely enough a sort called “Korona”. I think this rather empty composition describes precisely how I was feeling at the time.” Ginny
