Tushar Sabale | Oil on Board | 12 x 16 inches

Tushar Sabale is an Indian born, British artist based in London who mainly paints en plein air in oil colours.
As an ‘All weather’ artist, he enjoys painting plein air in all the seasons and is often seen painting on the streets of London where he captures the cityscapes, the landmarks and the ever changing skyline of the city, in different moods.
Tushar studied Art and Architecture and has a master’s degree in Product designing. He embarked on his professional career as a Creative Designer in multinational companies, designing watches for brands like Timex and other designer products and accessories.
His move to London in 2006 saw him working for various design companies including a high-end jewellery brand wherein he was involved in designing bespoke pieces for Hollywood movies (Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows, Maleficent, Snow white and the Huntsman –to name a few).
Even with his professional success as a designer, Tushar had a burning desire to paint and after a few years of sabbatical, he rekindled the love affair with his paintbrushes and started to paint again in 2012. After being a weekend painter for few years, Tushar now paints fulltime.
Tushar is a co-founder of ‘London Plein Air’, a painting group with an idea of bringing artists together to paint in the city of London. As of today, the group has over 100 artist members who come from across the country to paint every month. Tushar’s works have been selected and exhibited in Mall Galleries for the Federation of British Artists at The NEAC (New English Art Club), RSMA (Royal Society of Marine Artists) and ROI (Royal Institute of Oil painters).
Tushar is an Candidate member of ‘Wapping Group of Artists’.
