Barbara Richardson was born in 1944 and after graduating in Fine art from Chelsea School of Art she has been painting ever since.

Working in oil and watercolour she is known for depiction of still life and portraiture.

Barbara has won many other awards and, in addition to numerous exhibitions at private galleries, has shown at the Portrait Award Exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, Royal Academy of Art Summer Exhibitions, New English Art Club, Royal Society of Portrait Painters, Royal Institute of Painters in Oil, Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Watercolour Society, The London Group, Singer & Friedlander / Sunday Times Art competition and the Discerning Eye.
