Trinity College, Cambridge

Varsha Bhatia RI | Watercolour | 14 x 21 inches

“The painting of the Trinity College, Cambridge is done in watercolour depicting all the features of the gate in detail. The brickwork and stonework are painted in several layers to give the effect of age. Each brick and stone in the artwork is painted individually to bring out the character of the building. The gold in the painting is finished with gold leaf.” Varsha Bhatia

Having trained and worked as an architect, Varsha uses her architectural background to draw ideas for her artwork focusing on architectural monuments, studying their details, styles and atmosphere.
