British Artist and Preservationist. Former President of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, exhibited widely since 1976. Painter of West Country life and particularly Railways.
Work in many private and public collections including The House of Lords ( Permanent collection) Hestercombe House, Longleat House. Railtrack, artist in residences with EWS Railways, Crossrail.

Lives on a small holding in Somerset with his wife in our “Ideal Home 1937”, with our Heavy Horse and Sheep. Enthusiast for the 1930s and collector of horse drawn railway lorries and harness etc, author of Rachael the Railway Horse children’s books.
