Rules and regulations for online submissions:
- All artwork must be original work
- All artwork must be submitted online through this page, which is free of charge
- Up to six pieces of artwork can be entered by an individual artist per exhibition
- Successful applicants must deliver work to The Gallery, Lees Yard, Holt, NR25 6HS within the time scale given in person or, if requested, via The Gallery’s courier

Celebrating nature in paintings with an eclectic collection of works by leading national and international wildlife artists, including selected Members of the Society of Wildlife Artists (SWLA).
This exhibition will also feature a retrospective collection of original linocuts by one of the UK’s most important wildlife artists Robert Gillmor MBE SWLA (1936 – 2022).

The Gallery’s annual oil exhibition featuring Members of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI) and carefully selected artists using this popular and diverse medium.
‘Alla Prima’ is a technique ideal for painting evasive light as quickly as possible particularly to capture the play of light in landscape painting at a specific time of day.
Some famous artists who made use of this technique were Vincent van Gogh (1853 – 1890) and Claude Monet (1840—1926).

This ‘water based medium’ exhibition aims to reveal the professional techniques of painting in gouache, watercolour and acrylic.
Featuring Members of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours (RI) and the Royal Watercolour Society (RWS) this exhibition will present a most interesting and varied collection of original works.

After the incredibly successful exhibition, ‘Tranquility’, The Gallery is delighted to be hosting a second still life show featuring carefully selected artists from all over the world. This mixed media exhibition will highlight the diverse ways in which artists capture this inanimate subject using highly detailed and representational styles to the deconstruction in the abstract.

The fourth instalment in our Best of British themed exhibitions featuring an eclectic mix of selected British Artists many of whom hold memberships to prestigious societies and institutes. No subject is out of bounds and many have a distinctly subtle British theme too.
