Fiona Carvell | Pastel | 12.5 x 12.5 inches

Fiona graduated with a BA (Hons) in Illustration and Moving Image design, from Suffolk College and the University of East London, which lead to Illustration commissions and a career in moving image design for television broadcasting. She trained at the BBC before moving to Sky Television in London, working as a moving image Graphic Designer and Art Director. This was followed by 13 years of teaching in Further Education and a move back to her childhood County Durham, where she now lives with her family on the border of Northumberland.
Fiona became a full time Artist in 2015. She is a member of The Pastel Society UK, a Signature member of The Pastel Society of America and Member of The Society of Graphic Fine Art / Drawing Society. She is an Associate Artist of Northumberland based Unison Colour, working extensively with their handmade pastels to create her artwork, which is represented by various galleries across the UK.

As well as exhibitions, Fiona also undertakes private commissions.
