“The weather was absolutely roasting hot on the afternoon I painted this, I nearly burned to a crisp! Despite the heat, the subject and light were beautiful. A distant field fire gave a lovely blue tone to the distant trees. The sky was full of clouds in lovely formations and when the sun broke through it was bright and intense. It was a lovely subject and I chose where I painted carefully as to include both Cley and Wiveton church. “ Kieron
